Bring authentic Moroccan craftsmanship into your home with this handmade Tamegroute candlestick set, traditionally crafted in southern Morocco.
Made by local artisans using traditional ceramic techniques, these candlesticks feature the distinctive yellow-to-ochre glaze associated with Tamegroute pottery. The handmade firing and glazing process creates natural variations in tone, texture, speckles, and finish, making every piece unique.
The sculptural ribbed shape gives the candlesticks a strong decorative presence while the three different heights allow you to create an elegant layered display on a console, dining table, shelf, mantel, or sideboard.
Available sizes:
Small: 25 cm / 9.84 in
Medium: 30 cm / 11.81 in
Large: 40 cm / 15.74 in
Tamegroute pottery originates from the village of Tamegroute in southern Morocco and has been produced for generations using traditional methods. Its characteristic glaze can develop shades ranging from green and olive to warm yellow and ochre depending on the firing conditions.
These candlesticks work beautifully in Moroccan, Mediterranean, rustic, bohemian, Wabi-Sabi, and eclectic interiors. Display them individually or combine the three sizes for a balanced decorative arrangement.
Because each candlestick is handmade, slight irregularities, glaze variations, speckles, marks, and differences in shape are natural characteristics of the craft and add to the authenticity of each piece.
